SSNL Youth Squad Leader
Are you between the ages of 18-26 years old and looking for a seasonal part-time job? Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a Youth Squad consisting of between four and six members. You will have a great connection with your team and the Mack Road / Valley Hi community. Your job will require you to interact with all members of our community and you will problem solve effectively while remaining calm in the face of many challenges. Even if you’ve been in trouble in the past, as long as you’re on the right path now, we won’t hold that against you. If this sounds like you, read on and apply!
SSNL Community Peace-Keeper
Peace-Keepers are trauma-informed, street-wise men and women trained in conflict resolution, mediation, community organizing, and mentoring. They will be able to work together with staff members to facilitate restorative justice where necessary and provide options to those attendees who may need guidance on appropriate behavior. The SSNL Community Peace-Keepers attend and participate in the program every night and work with our attendees to promote a peaceful experience for all. This work will require you to multi-task and be flexible in terms of what hours you work as SSNL could occasionally run as late as midnight. If you have the experience and it sounds like you, read on and apply!
