The Mack Road Partnership is hiring for the following positions:

Executive Director

The Mack Road Partnership’s (MRP) Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director to lead and manage the activities of the business organization. The new executive will be hired by and report to the Board of Directors. He/she will oversee and implement programs that have been developed by the organization. The board will continue in its current role, setting policy direction and supporting the Executive Director.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with diverse business and community leaders and to function independently. The candidate will also have thorough experience in organizing, implementing and managing a strategic plan to promote Mack Road area businesses, events, programs, activities and opportunities, as well as the ability to efficiently collaborate with diverse groups, businesses, local government agencies and organizations. The ability to work with a Board of Directors and the ability to source and write grants is also desired.

Part Time Maintenance Team Member

The Mack Road Partnership (MRP) is hiring! We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Team Member to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role is responsible for the cleanliness of an area comprised of approximately 2.7 square miles including Regional Transit stops, shelters and light rail stations. Interested? Here’s what you need to know. We hire go‐getters who take great personal pride in a job well done. We have a lot of fun around here, and we got to where we are today by working exceptionally hard, meeting our deadlines and keeping our promises. If hard work and deadlines scare you, it’s best you not apply.

Daily tasks vary and include but are not limited to litter abatement, application of pesticides, trimming and mowing of common areas, power washing, shopping cart retrieval and other duties as assigned. Perhaps most importantly, we want individuals that will think of this business district as their own front yard and our property owners and businesses as family. You should have a deep, abiding hatred for litter, weeds and wayward sofas or mattresses. Dirty windows, grungy sidewalks and graffiti tags should horrify you. Our little piece of the world may not be big ‐ only 2.7 square miles ‐ but it’s OURS and we want every inch of it to gleam.

This is a part time hourly position with a target of 25 hours per week to start. Anticipated work hours are Monday – Friday 7am to 12 noon. Weekends may occasionally be required.
