The Mack Road-Valley Hi Farmers Market is a community driven initiative to create a vibrant and thriving marketplace where local residents, farmers, bakers and artisans come together to share the bounty of our local region to increase access to fresh, healthy, local and affordable foods.

We partner with various neighborhood associations to support National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Together, we are making that happen. Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

Local community members and businesses volunteer their time for an afternoon to host a variety of free seminars and activities for local families. Activities include: dance performances, health screenings, beauty makeovers, healthy cooking demonstrations and more.

We will be officially opening our Dance Studio on this day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There will be performances from local groups who use the converted garage dance studio. This is a FREE event and will showcase the great work and collaboration of businesses, non-profit organizations, and the community coming together.

Come join Keller Williams Realty, ReImagine Mack Road Foundation and Mack Road Partnership at Jack's Urban Eats on Monday, March 26th from 4pm-8pm to fundraise for the Mack Road Valley-Hi Community Center's renovations. Bring friends and family for dinner there that evening! 20% of the proceeds will go back to support Keller Williams Red Day Project. Come support the Mack Road community! The Valley-Mack Farmers Market is a community driven initiative to create a vibrant and thriving marketplace where local residents, farmers, bakers and artisans come together to share the bounty of our local region to increase access to fresh, healthy, local and affordable foods.

Based on a similar program founded in the city of Los Angeles, Sacramento Summer Night Lights (SSNL) is a violence reduction program disguised as fun.  A product of multi-sector collaboration amongst various stakeholders, SSNL runs between 10-14 weeks during the summer months at Center Parkway and Mack Road.  Attendees are offered FREE food, activities, educational and resourceful workshops targeted at parents, young adults, and children. In addition, the program promotes law enforcement and community interactions to build a better understanding and relationship between the two. By creating a safe environment, the program fostered community growth and trust which resulted in a drastic reduction in violence.
